GRAFFITI ART
EXHIBITION
These are writing or drawings made on a wall or other surface, usually without permission and within public view
HOW IT WORKS
DEAD EASY!
From the 1970s onwards, Burhan Dogancay photo of urban walls all over the world; these he then archived for use as sources of inspiration for his painterly works.
Preparation
step
The project today known as "Walls of the World" grew beyond even his own expectations and comprises about 30,000 individual images.
Performing
step
It spans a period of 40 years across 5 continents and 114 countries. In 1982, photographs from this project comprised
a one-man exhibition.
Evaluation
step
With the commercialization of graffiti (and hip hop in general), in most cases, even with legally painted "graffiti" art, graffitists tend to choose anonymity. This may attribut to various reasons or combination of reasons.
Personal expression
WHY PEOPLE PICK US?
Graffiti often has a reputation as part of a subculture that rebels against authority, although the considerations of the practics often diverge and can relate to a wide range of attitudes.
Radical and political
Graffiti may also be used as an offensive expression. This form of graffiti may be difficult to identify, as it is mostly removed by the local authority.
Offensive graffiti
Graffiti is a controversial subject. In most countries, marking or painting property without permission is considered by property owners and civic authorities as defacement and vandalism, which is a punishable crime, citing the use of graffiti by street gangs to mark territory or to serve as an indicator of gang-related activities.

Makara's art takes viewers on an extraordinary journey to a realm where she explores the spiritual connection between the cosmos and other galaxies. Going beyond conventional boundaries, her work transforms the very nature of art itself. With a profound understanding of emotions and DNA, she creates a cosmic connection through her captivating artworks.

But Makara's accomplishments don't stop there. In 2022, she became one of the 50 influential artists participating in a groundbreaking blockchain project by Qosmosys in the field of space art. Two of her exceptional artworks were included in the prestigious Godspeed collection, which consists of 50 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) available on the Opensea platform.
What sets Qosmosys' project apart is its uniqueness and attention to detail. Each of Makara's artworks was engraved on a gold-anodized aluminum plate, inspired by the Pioneer-10 plaque, and carefully placed on board the Zeus-1 satellite. Zeus-1, a 3UXL satellite, stands as the first of its kind in an innovative satellite lineup.
The engraved plates, resembling 12-inch gilded copper disks, serve as a representation of the diversity of life and culture on Earth. They hold images carefully chosen to offer a glimpse into our world, potentially discoverable by extraterrestrial beings in the vast expanse of our universe.
After the awe-inspiring launch into space, Makara's artworks underwent a transformative process. They were turned into NFTs, making them digitally collectible assets, and made available for purchase on the blockchain. This allowed both blockchain enthusiasts and space art enthusiasts to acquire a piece of Makara's captivating cosmic art.
Aisha Makara's artistic journey pushes the boundaries of creativity and innovation. Her trailblazing achievements, from having her artwork displayed in space to being part of a groundbreaking blockchain project, showcase her unique vision and talent. Makara's ability to forge cosmic connections through her art invites us all to contemplate our place in the universe and embrace the beauty of exploration.
